Advancing Rural Growth Through MGNREGA Assets: A Collaborative Initiative
In partnership with the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), we are dedicated to advancing research on assets developed under India’s Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) in the states of Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. Our intervention seeks to systematically extract, organize, and analyze data from the MGNREGA monitoring system, shedding light on how these assets contribute to household income enhancement and support rural value chain development. This collaborative effort aims to provide actionable insights into asset trends and impacts, guiding policies for sustainable rural growth. The initiative started from October 2024
