Project Name: Identifying systemic and implementation issues for exclusions of Adivasis in ITDAs of Andhra Pradesh
This project works to improve access to welfare entitlements for Adivasi and other marginalised communities across Integrated Tribal Development Agency areas in Andhra Pradesh. Building on LibTech’s earlier work, it examines systemic and implementation-level exclusions in central and state government schemes such as MGNREGA, PM-KISAN, Rythu Bharosa, PDS/NFSA, pensions, PM JANMAN and other welfare programmes. It also looks at barriers linked to foundational documents and registrations, including Aadhaar, birth certificates, caste and income certificates, land and farmer registrations, bank accounts and other digital or documentary requirements that shape access to entitlements.
The project combines document analysis, data audits, field studies, surveys, case documentation and engagement with officials and communities. It also supports practical action by developing grievance-resolution pathways, generating actionable evidence for civil society partners and government departments, training community youth and organisations on digital rights and entitlements, and using public communication, social media and mobile radio to strengthen transparency, accountability and inclusion in welfare delivery.
